Events announced in Lakki Marwat to mark Rabi-ul-Awwal

The district administration Lakki Marwat has announced a series of events to mark the 1,500th anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s good governance policy.
The activities will be held in all public schools under the supervision of the District Education Officer Liaqat Ali.
According to details, banners featuring the logo issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs will be displayed in schools until 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal. Students will recite Darood Sharif collectively during morning assemblies and after Zuhr prayers.
Teachers, including theology and Arabic instructors, will deliver lectures on character building, digital ethics, and contemporary challenges facing youth in light of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).
Seerat quiz competitions will be organized among students. On August 29, district-level Qirat and Naat recitation contests will be held at Government Shaheed Muhammad Ghassan Khan Centennial Model High School No.1, while on September 2, a district-level speech contest titled “The state’s responsibility in educating and training for the positive use of social media, in the light of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH)” will take place at the same venue.
School-level speech competitions will also be arranged and on the night of 11th and 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, public school buildings will be illuminated.
The District Education Officer has directed all school heads to ensure the successful conduct of these activities and maximum participation of the students.
