Reference seeking revocation of license of advocate Imaan Mazari has been filed in Islamabad Bar Council (IBC).
Advocate Adnan Iqbal through his reference filed in IBC has alleged Imaan Mazari is involved in anti state activities. Contemptuous speeches and negative campaign is run by Imaan Mazari against the government functionaries .
It has been further said in the reference Imaan Mazari is involved in inciting treason against the state institutions. Imaan Mazari is affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban, Baloch Liberation Army and Manzoor Pashin Movement.
Imaan Mazari supports every movement with anti state agenda and inciting treason in state institutions. All the legal fraternity is becoming maligned due to Imaan Mazari who is using her profession as shield. People are losing their trust on justice system due to Imaan Mazari steps.
It has been requested in the petition that Imaan Mazari legal practitioner license be cancelled besides initiating regular proceedings against her. It is pertinent to mention here Imaan Mazari did not appear in IHC on Tuesday in ECL case. Upon it the court had adjourned the hearing of the case. The court had rejected plea of Imaan Mazari to send the case to some other bench.
