MIRPUR: An AJK Business Community elder from Mirpur, Chaudhry Mahmood Ahmed, the central president of his faction of Anjuman Tajran (Ittehad Group) traders, has said that Azad Jammu Kashmir was a peaceful region and couldn’t afford any chaos. “Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Army Chief Syed Asim Munir should take immediate notice of the current deteriorating situation and find out a peaceful solution to the crisis,” he said while talking to newsmen here on Sunday. He said that the biggest problems were solved through negotiations; therefore, the demands of the Joint Awami Action Committee should be considered and the reservations should be removed. “The people and traders are protesting for their legitimate rights; the responsible parties should seriously find a solution to the long-standing issues and problems,” he urged. The seasoned AJK business community leader reaffirmed his firm resolve that the Pakistani Army was the real voice of the Kashmiri people. DNA
