KFUEIT hosts Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qirat with Egyptian and Pakistani Qaris

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) organized a grand Mehfil-e-Husn-e-Qirat where esteemed Qaris from Egypt and Pakistan enlightened the hearts of the participants with their recitations of the Holy Quran. The event, held under the auspices of the university’s Ethics and Tolerance Society, was made spiritually uplifting by the melodious recitations of Al-Shaikh Muhammad Aslam, Al-Shaikh Zahid Hussain, Al-Shaikh Al-Qari Muhammad Hussain, Al-Shaikh Al-Qari Mustafa Ahmed, and Al-Shaikh Al-Qari Muhammad Mahmoud. The gathering was attended by prominent political and social figure Mian Amir Shahbaz, alongside a large number of people from various walks of life, faculty members, and students. Participants praised the organizers, especially Dr. Majid Rashid, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies and head of the Ethics and Tolerance Society, for arranging the soul stirring event. Earlier, upon their arrival at the university, the esteemed Qaris were warmly welcomed by the Dean of all Faculties, Dr. Muhammad Sagir, and Dr. Majid Rashid. During their reception, discussions were held on the cultures of Egypt and Pakistan, mutual relations, and the bond of love and respect between the two nations.
