The Coca-Cola Foundation and the Coca-Cola system, in partnership with Rizq, are distributing over 550,000 meals to flood-affected communities in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan. The relief drive includes 3,000 food hampers (with flour, rice, oil, sugar, and lentils) to sustain families for a month, 100,000 servings of drinking water, and community dastarkhwans providing safe meals. Selected communities are also receiving blankets, bedding, and hygiene kits as winter approaches.
The Coca-Cola Foundation has contributed USD 100,000, and an additional USD 30,000 has been provided by the Coca-Cola system, including Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCI Pakistan). Volunteers from Coca-Cola and Rizq are jointly ensuring efficient distribution, especially in remote areas.
Carlos Pagoaga, President of The Coca-Cola Foundation, said, “We are inspired by the resilience of Pakistani communities and grateful to Rizq and provincial authorities for enabling rapid relief operations.”
Sunay Sanli, General Manager of CCI Pakistan, added, “We stand in solidarity with affected families and remain committed to both immediate relief and long-term recovery.”
Rizq CEO Qasim Javaid noted, “Coca-Cola’s contribution goes beyond material aid—it brings hope to those in need.”
This initiative reaffirms The Coca-Cola Foundation and system’s commitment to supporting Pakistan in times of crisis.
