Abid Ali successfully defended his MPhil dissertation titled “The Role of Music in the Dissemination of Pashto Classical Poetry.” According to a statement issued by the University of Peshawar (UoP), Mr Abid Ali research work was supervised by Dr. Sherzaman Simab of the Pashto Academy of the university.
His external examiner was Dr. Noor-ul-Basar Aman University of Malakand. The director of the academy Dr. Farkhanda Hayat and Dr. Noor Muhammad Danish Betani also attended the session and congratulated the scholar.
Dr. Farkhanda lauded the research as a significant academic contribution that underscores the cultural richness of Pashto literature and music.
