Islamabad: The division bench assigned to hear the case regarding Justice Tariq Jahangiri’s suspension from judicial work has been reconstituted and will take up the matter later this week. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has also issued a new duty roster for judges. According to court sources, the bench hearing the petition against the suspension of Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri has been changed. Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar will now be joined by Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro on the bench. The updated judges’ duty roster for the coming week has already been released by the IHC. Earlier, Chief Justice Dogar was hearing the case along with Justice Azam Khan. The matter was previously fixed for October 21 but was cancelled due to the unavailability of the bench. This development has also been updated on the official website of the Islamabad High Court. It may be recalled that the Supreme Court had reinstated Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri and directed the IHC to proceed with the case after addressing the registrar office’s objections. ONLINE
