The Corporate Conference Series 2025, organized by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), successfully concluded in Peshawar, bringing together experts, industry leaders, and policymakers to discuss Pakistan’s financial and economic future.
The event was inaugurated by Muzammil Aslam, the former Finance Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who emphasized that innovation, inclusion, and sustainable development were essential for shaping the future of the country’s financial system.
During the event, Muhammad Azfar Ahsan, Chairman of Nutshell Group, delivered a keynote briefing on “Pakistan’s Investment Reset – Vision 2035”, outlining strategies to attract investment and boost economic growth. A comprehensive panel discussion followed, with key participants including Dr. Muhammad Rafique from the Pakistan Climate Change Authority, Air Vice Marshal (retd) Ijaz Mahmood of South Air, Akif Khan, Managing Director of the KPIT Board, Dr. Syed Murtaza Asghar Bukhari, CEO of Trans Peshawar, Nazish Amin of FBR, and Irfan Saleem Awan, CFO of Bank of Khyber.
The session was hosted by Hina Nasir, Senior Sustainability Expert, who facilitated engaging discussions on issues like financial discipline, climate change, and the promotion of green business practices.
Fawzia Iqbal, Director General of the KP Revenue Authority (KPRA), also spoke on the province’s digital reforms and unveiled the Sustainable Finance Strategy.
Asad Hameed Khan, Head of ACCA Pakistan, reiterated the organization’s commitment to equipping Pakistan’s youth with the skills needed to excel globally. He highlighted that innovation and sustainable growth are pivotal to transforming the country’s financial ecosystem.
Earlier stages of the Corporate Conference Series 2025 were held in Multan and Faisalabad, focusing on topics such as climate change, financial discipline, and the promotion of green businesses. The event was supported by prominent organizations, including TMUC Pakistan, Dawlance, SOS Pakistan, Scans, and Abhi Microfinance Bank, among others.
These partners played a crucial role in the success of the conference and the advancement of Pakistan’s financial future.
