PESHAWAR: In a significant reshuffle within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, the provincial government has announced large-scale transfers and postings of senior officers across various districts. The decision marks the first major administrative move following Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi oath-taking. According to an official notification issued by the office of Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed, nine senior officers, including district police chiefs, traffic police officers, and CTD officials, have been reassigned. District Police Officer Abbottabad Umer Tufail has been appointed as SSP CTF and will also hold additional charge of DIG CTF and EU CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Haroon Rasheed Khan replaces him as DPO Abbottabad, while Zahid Ullah, formerly DPO Kohat, has been posted as Chief Traffic Officer Peshawar. Similarly, SSP Operations Peshawar Masood Ahmad has been transferred as DPO Mardan, Shahbaz Elahi has been moved to Kohat, and Saud has been appointed as DPO Karak. Muhammad Azhar takes charge as DPO Mansehra, while Shafiullah has been posted as Close CPO Peshawar. APP
