Srinagar
Indian forces intensified their crackdown across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Thursday, carrying out house raids and search operations in Srinagar, other parts of the Kashmir Valley, and Doda district of Jammu.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations involved personnel from the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), local police, and Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK), who conducted coordinated searches at approximately 13 locations.
Observers describe these raids as part of New Delhi’s ongoing campaign of state terrorism aimed at intimidating the Kashmiri population and suppressing their UN-recognized demand for self-determination.
Local residents reported harassment, disruptions to daily life, and heightened fear as Indian forces continued operations with impunity, targeting homes of pro-freedom activists as well as ordinary citizens.
Analysts note that these house-to-house searches reflect the Indian regime’s reliance on coercion and intimidation to maintain control over the territory, while disregarding international law and repeated United Nations resolutions affirming the right of Kashmiris to determine their political future.
