An open court was held at Sarband Police Station under the leadership of DSP Peshtkhara Circle Umar Afridi to raise awareness about social issues and ensure effective law enforcement in the area.
The session was attended by SHO Sarband Police Station Fawad Khan, PLC members, local dignitaries, scholars, and other police officials. Discussions focused on maintaining law and order, controlling crime, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Participants reviewed various concerns including tenant disputes, the squatter mafia, usury, illegal weapons, aerial firing, drug abuse, and other criminal activities. Emphasis was placed on eradicating social evils and preventing misuse of private jirgas.
Attendees agreed to collaborate closely with the police to curb crimes, end ongoing hostilities, monitor illegal tenants, and prioritize anti-drug efforts. DSP Umar Afridi highlighted the importance of intensifying efforts to address social problems and strengthen ongoing campaigns to maintain peace and security in the area.
