Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Bannu Region, Sajjad Khan, visited Lakki Marwat and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of police martyrs, reaffirming the resolve of police and security forces to maintain peace and eliminate terrorism.
DIG Bannu Region Sajjad Khan, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Lakki Marwat Nazir Khan, visited the residence of Policeman Amir Nawaz and his brother Amir Muhammad, who were martyred in a recent terrorist firing incident.
The DIG offered Fateha for the departed souls, expressed deep sympathy with the bereaved families, showed affection to the children and assured the families of full support from the police department.
On the occasion, DIG Sajjad Khan also met with local residents and prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs. Paying rich tribute to their courage and sacrifice, he said that the martyred policeman and his brother were brave sons and pride of the nation, who laid down their precious lives for the protection of the lives and property of the people and the country.
“The sacrifices of our martyrs will never go in vain,” DIG Sajjad Khan said, adding that the police and security forces would foil the nefarious designs of terrorists and bring them to justice at all costs.
He emphasized that the police and security institutions remain fully prepared at all times to safeguard the lives and property of citizens and will spare no effort to ensure lasting peace and order in the region.
