ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has approved bail plea of one Said Muhammad accused in spreading hate material. The court has approved bail plea of the accused Said Muhammad in the case of spreading hate material. A two member bench of the court led by Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan took up the case for hearing. The court inquired has only the book been recovered from the accused or is there any evidence of distributing the book. Prosecutor took the plea the accused is involved in distributing the book of Osama Bin Laden. Hate material was found in the mobile phone of the accused too. The court however remarked if the evidence is there then the punishment be got awarded to the accused in the trial. The defence counsel told the court the accused is laborer in Sahiwal and he was arrested by CTD Lahore in February 2025. There are contradictory reports about recovery of the book. The court remarked no opinion can be given on off the record things. There are only 4 witnesses in the case. DNA
