KARAK
A police mobile van has been fired upon place in limits of Gurguri police station in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday.
According to police 5 policemen were martyred in the firing on police mobile.
Karak District Police Officer (DPO) Saud Khan said 5 police men were on board in police mobile . Bodies have been shifted to hospital and investigation has been started.
He said the incident took place in limits of Gurguri police station.
Security officials have cordoned off the area to collect the evidence while a search operation has also been launched to arrest the perpetrators.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the martyrdom of 5 policemen and has condoled with the families of martyrs.
The entire nation pays salute to the martyrs.
