Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has strongly condemned the attack on a police mobile in Karak district, describing it as a cowardly and reprehensible act.
In a statement, the Chief Minister said those responsible will be brought to justice and dealt with according to the law. “The sacrifices of police personnel will not go in vain,” he added, reiterating the provincial government’s solidarity with the police force.
Afridi maintained that maintaining law and order is the government’s top priority, and such attacks won’t undermine the resolve of the government and police. He expressed sympathy with the families of the martyred police officers, saying they laid down their lives for peace and security.
The Chief Minister visited Karak, attended the funeral prayers of the martyrs, and offered condolences to the bereaved families, accompanied by Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah and IG Police Zulfiqar Hameed. He reaffirmed the government’s support for the martyrs’ families and prayed for the departed souls.
