Dera Ismail Khan: On the instructions of Deputy Director Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority Dera Sajjad Ahmed, the food safety team inspected fast food points and chicken shops in Dera Bazaar. During the inspection, a shopkeeper was summoned to the office for legal action due to the poor cleanliness. On this occasion, the expired licenses of several shopkeepers selling food items were also renewed. Moreover, the food safety team obtained ghee samples from a ghee manufacturing factory and sent them to the Peshawar laboratory for detailed analysis. According to the Food Authority, such inspections will continue to ensure the provision of safe and quality food to the citizens.
