Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has paid tribute to former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on her martyrdom anniversary, saying her vision of a democratic and prosperous Pakistan remains alive.
In a statement, Kundi said Bhutto was a champion of democracy, constitution, and women’s rights, and her struggle for a just society continues to inspire. He added that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) remains committed to her ideals and will continue to work for a strong, democratic, and prosperous Pakistan.
Kundi praised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, saying he is carrying forward his mother’s legacy and is a strong voice for democracy and provincial rights.
