In an effort to curb drug-related crimes and cleanse society of narcotics, police have intensified operations across the district. As part of this ongoing crackdown, Bhanamani Police arrested drug peddlers involved in supplying ice and hashish to selected customers in various parts of the city.
According to police, SHO Bhanamani Police Station Shehryar Ahmed, along with his team, conducted a targeted operation and successfully traced and arrested the accused. During the operation, police recovered 1,100 grams of ice and three kilograms of hashish from their possession.
The arrested suspects confessed during initial interrogation to their involvement in the illegal trade of ice and hashish. Police have registered cases against the accused and launched further investigations to identify their network and other accomplices.
Police officials reiterated that operations against drug dealers and other criminal elements will continue across the district to ensure public safety and law and order.
