Police on Saturday claimed to have conducted several operations and arrested a number of criminals allegedly involved in criminal activities.
According to a statement, under the leadership of SHO Khan Raziq Shaheed Riaz Afridi, law enforcement personnel conducted successful operations, leading to the arrest of several individuals involved in criminal activities.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Niaz Bahram, Tahir, Hamid, Syed Taimur, and Abrar Hussain.
Police said that arrested persons were involved in involved in a range of illegal activities, including posing as government officials.
Moreover, the group was implicated in possessing and trafficking illegal firearms.
During the operation, the police recovered a Kalashnikov rifle, four pistols, and multiple rounds of ammunition from the suspects. The authorities have registered formal cases against the individuals, and investigations were currently underway.
