In a series of coordinated operations across the district, the Peshawar Police, acting on the direct orders of higher officials, have intensified efforts to combat crime and maintain public order.
SHO Aizaz Alam Khan of Rehman Baba Police Station led a team that successfully apprehended several suspects involved in illicit activities, including the trafficking of ice, alcohol, and illegal firearms.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Habibullah, Amjad, Tahir Gul, Naeem, Ghaffar Ali, Ibrahim, and Imtiaz.
Police said that arrest was made during operations aimed at targeting the criminal underworld. Along with the arrests, police confiscated significant contraband, including two Kalashnikov rifles, one gun, five pistols, four bottles of alcohol, and thousands of rupees’ worth of ice.
Authorities have registered cases against the arrested individuals, and investigations are ongoing. The operations are part of the police’s broader strategy to curb illegal activities and ensure the safety of the public. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
