The minister ordered the immediate suspension of the procurement process for school bags and stationery and directed that all future purchases be made through the e-Bidding (e-BED) system.
Arshad Ayub Khan also instructed that the public complaint cell portal be activated at the directorate level to ensure lawful and prompt redressal of public grievances.
The Minister for education emphasized that retirement-related issues should be resolved within seven days at the district level and announced the introduction of an e-retirement system under the digital framework.
He also directed officials to focus on the Planning and Development Wing, ensure proper supervision of construction projects, and promote teamwork across the department.
The minister stressed the need for merit-based disposal of litigation cases and transparency in all departmental matters. He further directed timely implementation of in-line action management, ETA scholarships, PTC teacher appointments, and Class-IV recruitments.
He also directed that accommodation facilities be provided for male and female officers at the district level.
