ISLAMABAD: Federal Constitutional Account (FCA) will continue to hear petitions about super tax on Thursday. A 3-member bench of FCA under Justice Amin Ud Din Khan heard the case. Makhdoom Ali Khan counsel for tax payers companies while continuing his arguments said if there is no permission for collecting tax in the law then this tax was collected under what law. Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi said had you made FBR and commissioners respondents in Islamabad High Court. Makhdoom Ali Khan said both were made respondents in IHC. 4-C is fully illegal and unconstitutional. 4-C does not come upto any federal constitution making standard. Super tax is additional burden on business community. Super tax ratio has not been implemented on all sectors uniformly and instead discrimination continued to widen.
