Police on Tuesday claimed to have solved the murder case of Shahzeb, a young man killed in a robbery incident near Shahid Abad on January 2, 2026. The police arrested two suspects, Shahzeb alias Dinosaur, son of Musa Khan from Afghanistan, and Saeedullah alias Guphi, son of Irfanullah from Customs Chowk, Peshawar.
According to details, the suspects had kidnapped Shahzeb near his home and killed him when he resisted. The victim’s father, Murtaza, had registered a case against unknown suspects at the Peshtakhara Police Station.
CCPO Peshawar, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed, and SSP Operations, Farhan Khan, took notice of the incident and ordered the immediate arrest of the suspects. A special team, led by SP Cantonment Division Abdullah Ihasan, DSP Peshtakhara Circle Umar Afridi, and SHO Peshtakhara Iftikhar Ahmed, was formed to investigate the case.
The team used technical and scientific methods to track down the suspects, who confessed to being part of an organized snatching and robbery gang involved in several serious crimes, including armed robbery and snatching of mobile phones and valuables. Further investigation is expected to reveal more shocking revelations.
