PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan here Friday strongly criticized the poor performance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, stating that instead of focusing on resolving public issues, the provincial government’s priorities are centered on unnecessary political statements and non-serious matters such as securing the release of a prisoner. In a statement, he said that the situation of healthcare, education, employment, and law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is deteriorating day by day, while the provincial government has completely failed to provide relief to the public. Muhammad Humayun Khan said that government hospitals are facing a severe lack of basic facilities, educational institutions are in a state of decline, and rising unemployment has made people’s lives miserable.
He further added that the worsening law and order situation in the province is clear evidence that the provincial government has become completely disconnected from ground realities.
The public is facing serious issues such as inflation, unemployment, and insecurity, but the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains focused only on political rhetoric and non-serious actions.
The PPP Secretary General emphasized that the provincial government should reassess its failed policies and make public welfare its top priority instead of personal and political interests.
