Minister chairs meeting on developmental schemes in Charsadda

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Public Health Engineering Fazal Shakoor Khan presided over an important meeting regarding developmental schemes of Irrigation and Public Health Engineering departments in District Charsadda at his office in Peshawar.
The meeting was attended by the Executive Engineers (XENs) Irrigation and PHE Charsadda division, a handout said.
During the meeting, officers from both departments gave separate and detailed briefings to the provincial minister on the progress of ongoing development projects in district Charsadda.
The XEN Irrigation briefed the minister on projects aimed at improving the irrigation system in the district, including canals and other related infrastructure. He also informed about the overall progress, ongoing works, and construction activities completed so far.
Similarly, the PHE department XEN also provided a detailed briefing on ongoing schemes related to the provision of clean drinking water, water supply projects, and measures taken to facilitate the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Minister Fazal Shakoor Khan said that the timely completion of development projects linked to public welfare in district Charsadda is among the top priorities of the KP government.
He directed that all ongoing projects be completed within the stipulated time frame while strictly ensuring high quality standards.
He further emphasized that the primary objective of development projects is to provide direct relief and facilities to the people; therefore, no compromise will be made on monitoring, transparency, and quality.
The provincial minister also instructed the concerned officers to ensure their regular presence in the field and to submit periodic reports on the progress of the projects.
