President of Tanzeem Loharan District Mardan, Abdul Rashid Ghazi, has expressed deep sorrow and serious concern over unjustified and unannounced electricity load shedding, the rising wave of inflation, and the growing hardships faced by the public.
He stated that prices of food items, medicines, petroleum products, and other basic necessities of life are increasing unchecked on a daily basis, making life extremely difficult for the poor and middle classes.
Abdul Rashid Ghazi said that on one hand there is a storm of inflation, and on the other, excessive electricity load shedding has severely damaged business activities.
Small traders, craftsmen, laborers, and daily wage earners are being badly affected. Factories are shutting down, employment opportunities are rapidly shrinking, and unemployment is continuously increasing.
He further stated that while the ruling class is living a life of luxury, the common man is struggling to earn even two meals a day.
Instead of resolving public issues, the rulers have confined themselves to promises and statements only, resulting in widespread frustration and unrest among the people.
The President of Tanzeem Loharan demanded that the government and relevant authorities immediately put an end to electricity load shedding, control inflation, regulate the prices of essential commodities, and take urgent measures to provide relief to the poor and middle classes. Otherwise, Tanzeem Loharan reserves the right to take to the streets along with the public and will adopt a path of strong protest.
