President/CEO, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL), Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti called on Lt. Gen.,Muhammad Munir Afsar, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), Chairman NADRA at their Headquarters, Islamabad on January 27, 2026.
Chairman NADRA highlighted vital role of his organization in providing comprehensive identity verification of customers and financial services to banks, thereby strengthening digital banking security, regulatory compliance and financial inclusion. He further reaffirmed NADRA’s commitment to supporting the evolving needs of the banking sector.
President/CEO, ZTBL acknowledged the crucial role of NADRA in facilitating banking operations. Mr. Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti highlighted ZTBL’s turnaround performance over the last three years marked by the highest ever loan disbursement and recovery of years long stuck-up advances resulting in highest ever profits.
He also emphasized the Bank’s milestone achievements, including the first-time launch of various digital banking products and services.
Chairman NADRA highly appreciated ZTBL’s outstanding performance and its contribution towards strengthening rural economy. President/CEO ZTBL expressed his gratitude for the prompt, on-the-spot resolution of critical NADRA-related issue faced by the Bank.
