Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Tourism Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, President of the Centaurus Group Dr Sardar Rashid Ilyas Khan, and Chairman of the Centaurus Group Sardar Muhammad Ilyas Khan have expressed deep sorrow at the demise of President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.
In a joint condolence statement, they described Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry as a seasoned and astute political leader who devoted his life to public service and played a significant role in the political affairs of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
They said the late leader’s experience, political insight and commitment to democratic principles earned him respect across political divides, adding that his services to the people of Azad Kashmir would be remembered with appreciation.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas extended condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty Allah grants eternal peace to the departed soul and patience to his family in this time of grief.
He termed his death a significant loss for Azad Kashmir, stating that his contributions to public life would continue to be acknowledged in the region’s political history.
