Acting President, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday paid tribute to the security forces for conducting successful intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against terrorists in Balochistan.
He said the killing of terrorists operating in the province with Indian patronage was a major achievement of the security forces, a Presidency’s news release issued here on Friday said.
The acting president said terrorism had no religion, nationality or race, adding that the terrorist were enemies of humanity and peace.
He lauded the courage and professional capabilities of the security forces in the fight against terrorism.
Gilani said the entire nation stood united with the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
He said every nefarious conspiracy aimed at undermining peace and stability in the country would be foiled.
The acting president reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue its efforts for the complete elimination of the menace of terrorism.
