A delegation of male and female students from the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) on Friday visited Safe City Islamabad to learn about the modern technology and systems being used for policing and city surveillance.
An official told APP that the Safe City team briefed the visiting students on the central system of Safe City Islamabad, Command and Control Centre, modern surveillance cameras and Police Operations Centre Hall.
The students were given an overview of how different parts of the Safe City system operate and support police operations in the federal capital.
The delegation was also informed about the use of modern camera technology and the role of the Command and Control Centre in supporting policing activities.
The visit provided the students an opportunity to see the technology and operational setup of Safe City Islamabad and understand its role in modern policing.
