PESHAWAR
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed on Tuesday awarded cash prizes and certificates of appreciation to several police officers and personnel in recognition of their outstanding professional performance.
Those honoured included CKC Incharge Sub-Inspector Sohail-ur-Rehman, Assistant Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar, Head Constables Sohail Khan, Naveed Khan and Haider Khan, and Constables Muhammad Yasin, Fazal Akbar, Ghani Subhan and Waseem.
Speaking on the occasion, the CCPO said that the protection of life and property of citizens was the foremost responsibility of the police, and stressed that officers and personnel must perform their duties with dedication under the spirit of public service.
Dr Ahmed appreciated the professionalism and commitment shown by the awardees and directed them to continue their efforts to combat crime and eliminate social evils with the same zeal.
