KARACHI: Chery Pakistan has announced the introductory ex-factory price of its Tiggo 9 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle at Rs13,694,000, with bookings opening at Rs3,000,000. As per media reports, the launch marks the company’s latest move in the local hybrid vehicle segment. The Tiggo 9 is positioned as the flagship model in Chery’s current lineup in Pakistan. The company had outlined its electrification strategy at the PAPS Auto Show in November 2025, where it showcased the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 9 PHEV models for the Pakistani market. In mid-January, Chery introduced the locally assembled Tiggo 8 PHEV at an initial price of Rs10.9 million, later revising the price upward by Rs300,000 earlier this month. With the Tiggo 9 now entering the market, Chery is expanding its presence in the hybrid SUV category.
