RAWALPINDI
A trade delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), led by President Usman Shaukat, held an interactive meeting with President of the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey (CIANJ) Anthony Russo and executive members to explore avenues for bilateral business collaboration.
The meeting was also attended by Shama Haider, the first-ever Pakistani State Representative in the New Jersey Legislature, and Adnan Awan, Trade Counsellor at the Embassy of Pakistan. Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi and RCCI members representing diverse sectors were present.
The discussions focused on fostering a conducive business environment to facilitate joint ventures and investment opportunities between businesses based in Pakistan and New Jersey.
Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional linkages, promoting sector-specific partnerships and encouraging private-sector engagement to advance mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
The engagement reflects RCCI’s continued commitment to expanding international trade ties and creating new avenues for investment and sustainable business growth.
