PESHAWAR: The auction process for special vehicle registration number plates launched by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is continuing successfully wherein the highest bid so far was recorded for “Dawar-1” here the other day. According to details, the premium number plate “Dawar 1” was sold for a record-breaking amount of Rs 17 crore 50 lakh. The number plate was purchased by Inzamam-ul-Haq, who won the bid by offering Rs 175 million. Officials stated that the auction of unique number plates is being conducted to generate revenue for the province. APP
