PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing of renowned senior woman journalist Aneela Shaheen of Peshawar. In a condolence message, the minister said that he was deeply saddened to learn about the demise of Aneela Shaheen, who was widely respected as a dignified and responsible voice in the field of journalism. He said that through her professional services, the late journalist made a valuable contribution towards promoting positive awareness in society. The minister prayed that Allah Almighty may grant eternal peace to the departed soul, bestow upon her a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give patience and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
