ISLAMABAD: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Police Muhammad Jawad Tariq, accompanied by SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, conducted a citywide review of security arrangements during Sehri and Taraweeh hours across the federal capital. An official told media on Sunday that the DIG visited various sensitive locations, including mosques and key security points, to assess preparedness during early morning Sehri timings and late-night Taraweeh prayers. He said DIG Tariq met officers deployed on duty and directed them to ensure heightened vigilance during peak religious hours. The official said special security arrangements have been put in place at mosques and imambargahs to ensure peaceful Sehri, Taraweeh, and other Ramazan-related activities. DNA
