APHC-AJK holds prayer meeting for departed souls in Islamabad

A prayer meeting was held at the office of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter to offer prayers for the departed souls of the fathers of prominent pro-freedom Kashmiri leader Masood Sarfraz and Kashmiri Hurriyat activist Aamir Nazir.
The gathering was presided over by senior APHC-AJK leader Muhammad Farooq Rehmani. During the meeting, participants paid tribute to the deceased for their exemplary lives, recognizing their unwavering commitment to patience, and the strong family values they upheld.
They were described as dignified, pious, and principled individuals, whose perseverance, resilience, and commitment to truth made them shining examples for others.
In his address, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani expressed deep sorrow and grief, remarking that the loss of an elder is not just a personal tragedy for a family, but a collective void that impacts the entire community.
He said that the APHC stands in solidarity with Masood Sarfraz, Aamir Nazir, and their families during this difficult time.
Prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased and for the strength and patience of the bereaved families. The participants also highlighted the importance of mutual sympathy, solidarity, and unity, especially in times of hardship.
They emphasized that such occasions remind us of our shared humanity, the value of patience, and the collective responsibility we bear to support one another, particularly in moments of sorrow and loss.
