LAHORE: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has extended interim bail of Aleema Khanum and Uzma Khanum till April 16 in a case related to police violence during PTI October 5 protest, Judge Arshid Javed of ATC Lahore took up the case for hearing Friday. Both the sisters did appear in the court. The lawyers presented exemption pleas for one day and told the court both the sisters were appearing in the court of Islamabad. According to prosecutor Aleema Khanum and Uzma Khanum are charged with inciting the workers for violent protest, during which police were attacked and vehicles set on fire on October 5. Incidents of violence against police and torching vehicles took place on October 5. Aleema Khanum and Uzma Khanum have obtained interim bail in the case registered in police station Shafiq Abad. The counsels argued both the sisters were not present in Lahore at the time of incident. They have been declared involved only for the reason of their party affiliation. ONLINE
