Water Filtration Plant Inaugurated at Govt. Boys High School Rehmatabad

A water filtration plant was inaugurated at Govt. Boys High School Rehmatabad, Chaklala Cantt, Rawalpindi, on April 21, 2026, to provide safe and clean drinking water to the local community.
The initiative addresses key challenges of low water levels and limited access to basic health facilities, ensuring a reliable supply of potable water for students and nearby residents.
The project has been implemented by Rotary International’s Pakistan National Polio Plus Committee and generously sponsored by Rotarians from Japan, particularly Rotarian Masaaki Asato of the Rotary Club of Naha, District 2580, demonstrating strong international partnership and commitment to community welfare.
The ceremony was attended by Rotary leaders from Rawalpindi and Islamabad, including PDG Masrur J. Scheik and Nosherwan Khalil Khan, members of the Japanese Rotarians delegation, Principal Mr. Adeel Sulaiman, Chairman Water Supply Authority Mr. Nauman Abbasi, Mr. Asad Rehman Butt and community representatives.
Community leaders appreciated Rotary’s ongoing efforts in delivering sustainable, community-focused activities.
