A significant development has emerged from the Prime Minister’s Office, where Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, has appointed Muhammad Rauf as Focal Person.
According to an official statement issued here, Muhammad Rauf has been designated as the Focal Person to strengthen linkages within the tourism and hospitality sector under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme. The appointment has been made on an honorary basis.
Sources indicate that in his role as Focal Person, Muhammad Rauf will enhance coordination among relevant institutions, stakeholders, and partners. His responsibilities will also include promoting employment opportunities for youth and increasing their active participation in the sector.
It is pertinent to mention that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme is a key initiative of the Government of Pakistan aimed at providing young people with improved access to employment, skills development, and growth opportunities. — DNA
