Three out of five WSSC abducted employees released

In Bannu district five employees of the Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) were abducted by unidentified armed men in Fateh Khel area, within the limits of Miryan police station. According to WSSC official on Monday, the kidnappers also took along a trolley and four tractors with them. Following the abduction, security forces and local administration launched search operations, while company officials became actively involved in efforts to secure the safe recovery of the kidnapped staff.
Chairman WSSC Bannu, Sikandar Hayat, confirmed that three of the abducted employees have been released. However, two workers and a Mazda vehicle remain in the custody of the kidnappers.
He added that efforts are ongoing to ensure the safe release of the remaining hostages with relevant authorities taking necessary measures.
