ahead of Eid-ul-Azha
Lahore
Chairman of the Khidmat-e-Khalq Department of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), Chaudhry Shafeeq-ur-Rehman Waraich, has said that rising inflation, unemployment and increasing economic pressure may deprive a large number of deserving and low-income families of Eid-ul-Azha celebrations this year. In view of the prevailing economic situation, the Khidmat-e-Khalq Department has announced the launch of a nationwide welfare campaign under the slogan “Qurbani Sab Kay Liye” (Sacrifice for Everyone) to ensure that the joys of Eidul Azha reach every household. He said that sacrificial meat will be distributed on the first day of Eid to deserving and white-collar families across the country with dignity and respect at their doorsteps.
