Kohat
Traders in Kohat pledged to strengthen unity and collective action to address the mounting economic challenges during the seventh anniversary ceremony of the Tajir Action Committee, held at the Kohat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
Addressing the gathering, President KCCI Rasheed Paracha congratulated the committee on completing seven years and described the Chamber as a common platform for the business community.
He said rising taxes, increasing business costs and other economic pressures required all trader organizations to put aside differences and work together to safeguard their shared interests.
President Tajir Action Committee Haji Abid Khan said the organization had spent the past seven years advocating for traders’ rights, resolving market-related issues and representing the business community.
He reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to working closely with the Kohat Chamber of Commerce and other trader bodies to improve the business environment and protect the interests of local merchants.
The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting to mark the committee’s seventh anniversary. Business leaders attending the event reiterated their commitment to promoting unity, cooperation and coordinated efforts to resolve traders’ concerns and support the growth of the local economy.
