LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved construction of eight hundred mini dams to conserve rainwater in the Pothohar. Chairing a meeting on agriculture transformation and water management in Lahore Wednesday , she reviewed progress on water conservation and groundwater management across the province. Maryam Nawaz directed the departments of Agriculture, Irrigation, Housing and Local Government to work under a unified “One Window Water Security” framework. Online
