Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz has said Punjab is leading in governance and development and no power in the world can stop the development of Punjab.
She said this while addressing Lady Police Officers Passing Out Parade in Training College Chung Thursday.
CM Punjab she is very happy while seeing the courageous daughters of Punjab. The girls completed their training in 40 weeks.
She held the women are demonstrating excellent performance in all institutions. Women are becoming empowered in Punjab, This is matter of pride for me.
She said wearing uniform is not easy. Realization of responsibilities is must. Girls are benefiting from scootie facility. Women are earning income by running taxis easily. Women are working shoulder to shoulder with men.
Punjab has outpaced in all sectors. The world is citing example the way Punjab is going ahead excellently.
The crime rate has declined remarkably in Punjab. This is secure province for women. Crime rate has dipped. We have to make streets and mohallas of Punjab safe for our daughters. Making Punjab safe for women is our top priority.
She said it is requested to IG Punjab the process of recruitment of women be made more easy. I remain in direct contact with police and not through office. Large investment has been made in technology which will prove beneficial in future.
She waved hands to the citizens who had come to watch parade.
