Law fraternity pays tribute to Justice Musarrat Hilali on retirement

Members of the legal fraternity on Monday paid glowing tribute to Supreme Court Judge, Justice Musarrat Hilali on her retirement, acknowledging her distinguished judicial service, professional integrity and valuable contribution to the administration of justice.
The tribute was paid at a farewell reception hosted by the Supreme Court Bar Association in the Bar Room of the Supreme Court Branch Registry, Karachi.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi attended the ceremony along with Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Musarrat Hilali and Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput, said a press release issued here on Monday.
The office-bearers and members of the Supreme Court Bar Association warmly welcomed the judges and praised Justice Musarrat Hilali’s services to the judiciary, while extending their best wishes for her health, happiness and a fulfilling post-retirement life.
As a gesture of goodwill and to celebrate Sindh’s cultural heritage, the Supreme Court Bar Association presented traditional Ajraks to Justice Musarrat Hilali, the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the accompanying judges.
The ceremony concluded in a cordial atmosphere, reaffirming the longstanding relationship between the Bench and the Bar and their shared commitment to the rule of law, professional excellence and the effective administration of justice.
