PESHAWAR
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department paid tribute to its fallen personnel on Youm-e-Shuhada, with officials visiting the families of martyrs and their graves to express solidarity and honour their sacrifices.
Excise and Taxation Officer (Counter Narcotics Operations) Majid Khan and SHO Excise Police Charsadda Mohammad Riaz visited the graves of the department’s martyrs, laid floral wreaths, offered Fateha and prayed for the elevation of their ranks.
Speaking on the occasion, the officials described the sacrifices of Excise Police martyrs as invaluable, saying they remained a source of pride for the department and would never be forgotten.
They said the martyrs’ dedication and sacrifice continued to inspire serving personnel with courage, determination and resilience.
During meetings with the families of the martyrs, Mr Khan conveyed a special message from Provincial Minister Syed Fakhar Jahan, Excise Secretary Khalid Ilyas and Director General Excise Abdul Halim Khan, assuring them of the department’s continued support, welfare assistance and commitment to resolving their concerns.
Meanwhile, in Mardan, Excise and Taxation Officer Syed Naveed Jamal, accompanied by departmental staff, visited the grave of martyred Sub-Inspector Samiullah Kashif, laid flowers, offered Fateha and prayed for the departed officer.
