PESHAWAR: A five-year-old boy drowned and died while another child was rescued after two children fell into a river in Mayar Miah Banda area of Lower Dir on Sunday. According to Rescue 1122, local residents pulled both children out of the water and shifted them to Mayar Hospital. Rescue 1122 personnel and doctors immediately performed CPR on nine-year-old Ehsan. Following successful medical efforts, Ehsan regained consciousness, with his breathing and heartbeat restored. According to the rescue spokesperson, five-year-old Muhammad died at the scene. APP
The spokesperson clarified that the incident was not caused by monsoon rains, adding that there had been no rainfall in the area that caused this tragic incident.
