With the inauguration of the new building of Rapid Assessment and Reception at Ayub Teaching Hospital, the good news of a new emergency building and a complete burn unit was announced. The number of slip counters has increased in the new building.
Yesterday, Ayub Teaching Hospital Chairman Board of Governors Prof. Dr. Abid Jamil inaugurated the new building of Rapid Assessment and Reception, taking an important step to provide better, timely and dignified medical facilities to the patients in the hospital and said on this occasion that this is both a necessity and the need of the hour. This project is part of the steps taken by the Board of Governors and the hospital administration to make emergency services more effective, facilitate patients and their families, and eliminate rush and long queues.
Earlier, there was a counter for slips in the hospital, which used to cause difficulties for patients coming to the hospital, but this project will increase the number of counters, which will provide better and faster facilities to patients for different stages. Professor Dr. Abid Jamil directed that all the counters should be run under a uniform and integrated system and the facility of issuing all necessary slips should be provided from each counter so that patients do not have to go from one counter to another or stand in unnecessary queues.
Patients in emergencies already come in a state of extreme discomfort and distress, so it is not appropriate to make them go through unnecessary waiting and complicated stages. Providing patients with medical examination and access to related facilities in the shortest possible time through a modern and integrated system should be the top priority of the administration.
During the visit, the Chairman BOG also made a detailed visit to the Emergency Department, stating that patients in emergencies already come in a state of extreme discomfort and distress, so it is not appropriate to make them wait unnecessarily and go through complicated steps.
Providing patients with medical examination and access to related facilities in the shortest possible time through a modern and integrated system should be the top priority of the administration.
He further said that equipping Ayub Teaching Hospital with modern medical facilities and providing better treatment facilities to the people of Hazara is among the top priorities of the Board of Governors.
He expressed his determination that God willing, the day is not far when a state-of-the-art new emergency building and a complete burn unit will also be available to the people of Hazara at Ayub Teaching Hospital.
He also visited the Walk-in Clinic and reviewed the facilities provided to the patients there. He issued necessary instructions to the hospital director and the maintenance department, saying that the facilities available to patients should be further improved and the ongoing construction and repair works should be completed in a timely manner.
