ISLAMABAD
Federal government has accorded approval to deploy 3 companies of Pakistan army in Rawalpindi for 6 months under article 245 of constitution.
This decision has been taken on the request of home department Punjab. Pakistan army will maintain law and order situation in collaboration with district management.
Pakistan army will make security arrangements effective on important highways and in sensitive areas.
Assistance will be provided to district management to avoid any undesirable situation as well as to respond effectively in any unforeseen situation.
